Rainbow

Camera: E-1
Program: Manual
ISO: 200
Aperture: f11.0
Shutter: 1/500
Focal length: 50mm (100mm equiv.)

I ran the adjustment brush in Lightroom over the rainbow to increase the saturation but now it looks a little dodgy. Didn't really need to either as it was already wonderfully vibrant. The E-1 produces the best colour with it's Kodak sensor. I <3 my E-1!

Brighton Beach Huts

Camera: E-1
ISO: 100
Program: Aperture priority (exposure bias -0.3)
Aperture: f16
Shutter: 1/250
Focal length: 17mm

This looks strangely fake and I did do a bit of adjusting and editing in Lightroom but the original doesn't look much different to this! I was there at a hard time of day to shoot - the sun was low in the sky on a cloudless day which resulted in full sun coming in directly on those huts. But this resulted in being able to get good exposure for both the huts and the vibrant blue sky :)
There were very harsh shadows in the sand so I upped the fill light, and also increased the clarity and the vibrance. Also I cloned out some annoying bushes above the first hut on the right, and to the side of the far hut.
I love it! So bright and vibrant and almost surreal!

B is for Books

Camera: E-1
ISO: 200
Program: Manual
Aperture: f3.5
Shutter: 1/125
Focal length: 54mm
No flash

I am compiling a photo book for my Zara's birthday - it's an alphabet book made with photos I have taken. Starts at 'a' - and there will be say, four images of things starting with 'a', next page will be 'b', and so on...
So this is one of the 'b' images.
The DOF is a little shallow but I'm not piling those books up again!

Stalks

Camera: E-3
ISO: 100
Program: Manual
Aperture: f16
Shutter: 1/100
Focal length: 12mm

Saw really strange clouds, ran inside to get the camera, and of course by the time I came back out they weren't so weird anymore! But I shot them anyway.

View from Verandah

Camera: E-1
Program: Manual
ISO: 800 (whoops - didn't need it that high, I'd accidentally left it on from the night before, no wonder I had to keep increasing the SS!)
Aperture: f8.0
Shutter: 1/500
Focal length: 54mm

Used a preset in Lightroom that funked up the colours a bit then desaturated the yellow slightly (was a bit TOO yellow!)

The only shot I took today, and only because I had to :D
Looking out over the back verandah at my place at 6pm. We've had a ton of rain over the past few days so everything is flooded.

On a completely unrelated note, my little sis just called from Melbourne - she's getting married! Her husband=to-be gave her the perfect proposal :)

Camera: E-1
Program: Manual
ISO: 100
Aperture: f22
Shutter: 8 seconds
Focal length: 14mm
No flash

Just having a play with long exposures at dusk with this one. Upped the exposure of the house in Lightroom and added a graduated filter to decrease exposure of the sky.
Also boosted the greens as they were looking a bit sad and sorry.
Used tripod and shutter release cable obviously :D

Camera: Olympus 1050SW (p&s)
Program: Auto
ISO 100
Aperture: f/5.0
Shutter: 1/50
Focal length: 20mm
No flash

This is sooc (straight out of camera - no edit).
Had just purchased my new little point and shoot and was having a play. I exposed for the sky to get Zara in silhouette there.
Great little camera, very happy with the clarity and colour.
Has all the manual functions you could need but I don't think I'll ever bother taking it off Auto!

Camera: E-1
Program: Aperture priority
ISO: 100
Aperture: f3.2
Shutter: 1/640
Focal length: 35mm

Popped out some blue in the sky in Lightroom.
This is my beautiful friend and her son - I had the pleasure of photographing her son's naming day ceremony today.
I love this shot of them, it's so vibrant and I just love her expression.
